Hedgehog Hot Water Bottle Cover And Christmas Preparations For Handmade Monday

Are we all feeling festive? I've had a fun Christmas crafty day with the family today - a little glimpse of what we've been making coming up :) First though i want to tell you about the latest creation destined for my shops... my hibernating hedgehog hot water bottle cover!

Hedgehog Hot Water Bottle Cover

I love hedgehogs, they're such characterful little creatures and i'm all for their idea of hibernating when things get a bit chilly - they seemed the perfect animal to set the mood for cosying up on the sofa or under the duvet with a hot water bottle :)

As with my sleeping cat hot water bottle cover, its made from super soft organic bamboo fleece and has an envelope closure at the back with a velcro seal for easy removal of your hottie.

I will try and find a moment to get it listed in my shops this week (priced £20.00). If anyone wants to snap it up before then though just let me know!

Brown Paper Christmas Banners

I've managed to take some time out here and there from making Christmassy things to sell in order to create some festive gifts and decorations for my own home and family. And today a few of us got together and made some Christmas crackers (still works in progress - i will show you them next week though!) and also some brown paper banners decorated with scraps of wrapping paper and craft paper from magazines. I managed to get this quick pic between gusts of wind trying to blow them away this afternoon!

Anyone else been crafting on the home front this week or are you all manically trying to keep up with customer orders and craft fairs? Off over to Handmade Harbour now to find out..!

Have a wonderful week! x

  1. Your bunting looks wonderful! A great way to use up some of those scraps of paper you end up with. And I love your hot water bottle cover. I've just realised that I forgot to take a pic of the one I made for a friend for Christmas - I'll have to get her to take one when she's unwrapped it! Have a great week x
