Personalised Christmas Stockings For Handmade Monday

I seem to be favouring a red and white theme with my makes at the moment... i love the contrast in this colour combination and the way it is both fresh yet also warming and cosy. What's your favourite colour combination..? I'd be fascinated to know!

Red and White Christmas Stockings

Actually, the striped cotton fabric i've used for the stockings is more like red and pale cream - a little bit vintagey/shabby chic-ish which i think works well with the nostalgic element of all things Christmassy!

They are each embellished with three applique hearts and completely lined with the contrast fabric used for the turn-over at the top, with a double stitched hem to keep the contents secure! They are a reflections of each other, right down to the red and white 100% wool pom-poms (i just had to add them :))

They can be personalised with an initial in hand-sewn white buttons - here are some pictures to give you the idea...

Each stocking is £16 each with an initial, or £12 without and they are both available from my Etsy shop: Red Christmas Stocking , Striped Christmas Stocking

I got these cute mini-cards from moo! They are especially for popping in with Christmas orders and also for distributing where i can on the run up... i'm not sure if you can see from this not too brilliant picture but the slogan on the bottom is 'Buy Handmade This Christmas' - got to get the message out there!!!

The cards were free by the way (excluding postage) - I saw the link on one of the Etsy teams and i can't for the life of me remember where now... i will try and find it though and post it here for interested parties!
