New Cards, New Shop Name

Seeing as spring is upon us i decided this week that it was high time i gave Free Spirit Designs a bit of a spring clean.

At the time when i opened my first Etsy shop, the name Free Spirit Designs was already taken as a shop name, so i made the decision (looking back i can't imagine why!!) to call my shop FreeSpiritDesigns2. Needless to say, the disastrous lack of imagination behind this decision has annoyed me ever since! :/

Later on, when i opened my second Etsy shop i called it FSD Print And Paper - spelling the whole this out was too many characters but i'm reasonably happy with the compromise. So, this week i decide to follow suit with shop number one, which is now called FSD Love And Living.

I feel sooo much better that i've done something about it after having it niggling at the back of my mind for so long... I've even made them matching banners.

Keeping them simple suited my spring cleaning mood! :)

All existing links to the shop will still function which i'm happy about. Etsy only allow you to change your shop name once though so i hope i've made the right decision this time! I look forward to hearing your thoughts.

New Cards

On the making front, i have listed some more new cards - including the 'You're An Angel' one at the top of the post.

I've also had more fun 'colouring with photographs' in this floral union flag card,

and these two watering can cards, both featuring a rainbow of close up floral images.

Even the blue of the watering can in the first one is coloured from a photograph of blue sky, i rather like the feel the natural tones give even though you can't necessarily make out what the original photographs were of.

Last but not least are a couple of designs regular readers may be familiar with - especially the birds on the wire as its my blog background too!

They are all available from my Print and Paper shop on Etsy priced £2.20.

What have you been up to this week? As always, i look forward to visiting Happy Friday and Handmade Monday to find out! x
