Christmas Preparations, Including Some Pressies... (Shhh don't tell anyone) For Handmade Monday

Lots of Christmas orders have been coming in this week again. I even passed on a visit to the Bath Christmas market which i usually love to have a mooch around at this time of year because i was busy painting these...

...and these...

... and these...

and this...

...oh yes, and personalising one of these...

It looks really cute with a name in multi coloured letters above the cats but you'll have to imagine it as i haven't okayed sharing it with its new owner!

Luckily my OH brought back some of the yummiest gluten free chocolate brownies ever from the market (i always try and hunt out their stall). However, despite not being a 'chocolately person' he then proceeded to eat three out of the four in the packet himself!! (yes, they are that good :)). I noticed on the packet that they have a website which you may want to visit if, like me, you are a brownie fan... I will be sending my OH back to the market this week for more supplies!! :)

Christmas Pressies

I have also found some time to work on the long list of Christmas presents i've decide to make for my friends and family. I get so much pleasure from making special gifts for my loved ones although it is very time consuming and i'm just hoping i'm going to get them all done in time!!

There are a couple i can show you as i'm fairly sure the recipients won't be dropping by my blog... i'm hoping they won't anyway!

The first is the set of Christmas stocking tree decorations you can see at the top of this post that i've made for a young family. They each have a name embroidered and a few little pressies inside...

The next is a tea cosy for someone who, like me, likes both dogs and tea!

(Expect to see a whole collection of tea cosies appearing in my shop by Spring time!)

In Other News...

Alternative Christmas Tree

We do have a traditional Christmas tree - a real life pine smelling, needle dropping one which has been covered in a festive medley of decorations this afternoon and is now twinkling away merrily in our living room (taking up an outrageously large amount of it in fact!)

However, in another corner is this little creation i put together. It now has a few more pom poms and other little bit adorning its branches and is looking delightfully 'alternative' :)

Handmade Monday

I know you are all busy with your own Christmas preparations, but do pop buy and visit some of the other Handmade Monday blogs over at Handmade Harbour, there is sure to be some inspiring things to see!

Have a good week :) x

I must say, i hadn't thought about that with the dog... we do have a boy but he seems more interested in stealing decorations off the tree than scent marking it!
