Love Heart Placemats

A couple of rays of sunshine finally managed to peek through the clouds today after what seems like an eternity of rainy gloom so i rushed outside to capture some nice bright photos of my recent makes.

I had hoped to get them all listed on the various online outlets i'm selling through too, but... the dog went AWOL this afternoon so spent three hours looking for him instead!

Here he is 'blending' with the landscape a couple of weeks ago - now you know why it was so hard to find him! (that and the fact that he can cover a field in about three seconds...!)

Anyway, he showed up waggy tailed in the end and i still managed to get a couple of new listings up on Etsy this evening though so i thought i'd share them with you here for Handmade Monday.

You may recall that i began experimenting with coasters a couple of weeks ago with intentions of progressing onto placemats. Well, here is a set of my finished sheep coasters:

Colourful Sheep Coasters Set of Four

which i think are pretty cute! Here's one with another of my recent listings - i told you i had plans for those mugs!

Coffee Lover Mug Large

And here are my first set of placemats:

Heart Placemats Set of Two

I'm pleased with these too so all's well that ends well! :)

All that remains now is for me to hand you over to the capable hands of Wendy over at 1st Unique Gifts - happy Handmade Monday!

p.s. Next week i expect i will be announcing the winner of The Circle of Love Giveaway - there is still time to enter! (thank you very much to all those that have entered already!) x

  1. Your coasters and place mats are A1. Do see what you mean about your dog blending into the background!!!!. Hugs Mrs A.
p.s.It was a good job that I did sew the ribbons on for the rings. No problewm with the page boy but when the vicar untied them and placed them on her order of service she prompptly dropped them onto the floor!!! They were found five mins later under the hem of her gown. Wasn't anticipating that senario

    1. ha ha! oh my goodness! how embarrassing for the Vicar!! it just goes to show you can't possibly provide for every possible scenario at a wedding - or life in general i suppose!

Thank you for your compliments on my makes :) and i'm glad they found the rings in the end! x

  2. The place mats looks really good. You would be able to personalise for children too. (encourage the picky eaters maybe if they have a nice mat to put their plate on!) The sheep coasters are really cute too. Michx

  3. Great placemats and coasters, nice and cheerful. Your doggie really does blend in with the landscape, perhaps he's pretending to be a chameleon!!
