Lots of Thank Yous!

Lots of lovely people have generously shared their time, wisdom and kindness with me this week so i thought i'd use this post to say thank you to them, as well as update you with a few interesting developments in my little corner of the crafting world...

I Won Another Giveaway! Thank You Hazel :)

Printable Flowers Collage Sheet by HFC Supplies

I realise that this makes it look like i must be entering every giveaway in the bloggosphere (you may remember that i won Goldie the sheep a couple of weeks ago)... but i'm really not! I do seem to be going through a lucky phase though :)  and was so excited to hear from Hazel of Hazel Fisher Creations about my latest win!

Hazel is a wonderful artist/illustrator and the prize was four printables from her craft supplies shop on Etsy (she also has an Etsy shop for her lovely artwork). After my recent run of good fortune it felt right to spread the love a bit and share the prize with the other entrants - as luck would have it there were four of us, so we all got one each! I absolutely love the flower collage i chose and already have some great crafty ideas that this beautiful collection of images will come in handy for!

I'm Going Into Print! Thank You Tracey!

Cute Country Cottage Cushion

'Wherever I Roam The Ocean Calls Me Home'

Tracey Kifford is the amazing lady behind Wow Thank You, a British online craft retail platform (if you haven't heard of it yet i highly recommend clicking the link and checking it out!) which is fast becoming a contender in an arena currently dominated by the likes of Folksy and Not On The High Street. Wow Thank You  hasn't been around as long as these guys but it is progressing at an astounding rate, propelled by Tracey's incredible dedication and enthusiasm, not to mention her willingness to listen to and personally contact her sellers!

One of the recent opportunities she has offered shops on the site is the chance to submit a small collection of product photos to be included in the 8 week trial Wow Thank You currently has with Press Loft (a high-resolution online image gallery where journalists come to find photographs for their features). I sent in some photos last week and on Friday Tracey contacted me to say that two of them (see above) had been downloaded by different publications, so it looks like i'm going to be in print before too long - how exciting!!!

Blog Feature - Thank You Julie!

My Etsy Shop got featured over on the Julie Marie Shop Blog this week! Julie does a lovely write up and clickable images for a small collection of Etsy shops each week (she is happy to be contacted by people who would like their shop to be included in this feature) and i was super excited to hear that she'd featured mine :)

Tricky Customer... Thank You Crafts Forum!

I had a tricky situation with a customer this week that i wasn't sure how to handle.. luckily there is a wonderful community of experienced and supportive fellow crafters over at the UK crafts forum who were on hand, as always, with kind comments and sage advice. I am so glad that this wonderful resource exists and am very grateful to the administration team there as well as all the lovely crafters who comment on my posts! x

The Circle Of Love Handcrafted Giveaway

Five wonderful craft bloggers contributed a handcrafted item to the prize draw and i'd like to say a BIG thank you to lilleesgramknits, heartfeltbyheather, fiddlyfingers, and mythological for helping me make the idea into a reality! And of course to all the lovely people who have taken the time to enter - THANK YOU!

The entrees from the various blogs are still being added up, but the random number generator is at the ready and we will be announcing the winner very very soon!!!

Handmade Monday

Wow! what a week!! Thank you for reading all about it :) I'm heading over now to Handmade Harbour to see what Wendy and the other Handmade Monday crafters have been up to... care to join me...?! x
